A community health fair is scheduled for Saturday October 14, 2017 at 9:00 am at 90 Fairfield Ave, Stamford, CT. The Hispanic Advisory Council of Greater Stamford (HACGS) is a networking organization that brings together representatives of non-profits, governmental agencies as well as local businesses serving the Hispanic community. The purpose of the HACGS network is to share information about resources available to the community, announce initiatives, create relationships, find collaborators and seek cooperation and coordination on various initiatives and programs. The council, established in 1996, brings thousands of dollars worth of free health care services to one to two thousand participants annually. The council seeks to find ways to collaborate and cooperate and find ways to serve the Hispanic community more effectively and efficiently.
