Connecticut children can enjoy many museums in the state free of charge this summer

Starting this Thursday, July 1 and until September 6 of this year, Connecticut children, age 18 and under, along with one accompanying adult, will be able to receive free admission at more than 90 museums across the state.

Governor Ned Lamont announced this new program earlier this week as part of his plan to “use recovery funds to provide students and families with engaging summer enrichment and learning experiences in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic,” according to

It is advised to check with each museum that you plan to visit ahead of time as they might have different ticketing requirements and reservations may be required.
